oQueue & Website Suggestions Thread

not being able to queue back up due to the person who is auto-kicked still being in queue is a blizz implementation to trip up premade groups

you can thank them

if i get the time, and desire, i will implement a proper work around. low desire comes from blizz actively working to keep people from playing the game. just a brilliant business strategy.
i know.. i was ther when you added this feature to get rid of afkers or slackers.. but i thought it will be easy to remove since it is hurting the group more than helping it go faster as intended.. thanks anyway
I would like to suggest a way to both turn off the "/hail" and sound effect from opening Oqueue that is outdated(the text notification in the oqueue window that there is a new verstion avalible is more than sufficient for making a user aware of such), and to turn off the new loot screen feature. I find them extremely invasive and that should be an option if one wants it. I dont like when addons take over any aspects of my character, such as saying thing in chat or emotes(Especially in LFR / Flex/ Solo dungeon runs / Guild runs).

I am sorry, but I have uninstalled the addon for the time being, as I will not play with this annoying loot feature without an option to completely turn it off. I use this add on to find groups, and any other features I feel should be optional if I want to run a barebones experience. Should this issue be resolved, I will happily return.

Cheers.
without loot rule acceptance typed into instance chat, blizz will do nothing about ninja looters.

in 1.92 i've added an option to turn off the loot acceptance as well as the ability to hit esc to close without answering

as for the /hail, that's easily resolved by updating and since we've made icebox available, updating literally takes less then 5 seconds.

Ah great, that sounds good! The feature itself seems nice, especially for those transmog/mount runs, but for my purposes it is largely irrelevant. Thank you for your quick reply, and I look forward to returning then.

Yes, but the feature seems largely pointless and is annoying when the addon updates so often(not that I mind it being updating, and I see that as a good thing, but the text in the middle of the oqueue screen seems more than sufficient for notification purposes). Personally would like to see an option for this, but as it's only a very minor annoyance, it's nothing I'm really concerned about and may not be worth the time to implement if you are busy. Thanks.
so often?

v1.87 apr 8
v1.88 apr 15
v1.89 jun 3
v1.90 jun 7
v1.91 jun 17

about 70 days, 5 updates... average 14 days between updates

Regardless of how often it is, the /hail thing and sound effect still seems pointless and annoying to me. Again, just a minor nitpick, and something I'd like to see an option to turn off, but it isnt a big deal at all and wont turn me away from the add on.

And yea, it's not amazingly often, but still much more frequently than any other addon I use with the exception of elvui. But with that, I can easily skip a few minor updates if I feel like it without losing out on functionality. With Oqueue, with the consistant annoying aspects, It makes it feel more often then it really is because I feel forced to get the new one right away.

But not the biggest issue. I look forward to 1.9.2 so I can return to using the addon without the invasive loot rule pop up.
3 MAJOR COMPLAINTS.

1) The list scrolls so fast sometimes that I go to click to join waitlist and I end up joining a queue 3-4 spots off from the one I want to.
2) How come when I queue, after 3-5 minutes I'm no longer queue on a list, so I have to requeue.
3) STOP UPDATING SO OFTEN. In the last 3 months it seems like its once a week, and I've found if I'm not up to date, I'm not getting all of the possible queues. How about combining the updates and cutting down on the frequency of them.

To be honest, for those 3 reason, I've almost unstalled Oqueue, a few times. I know you want to have it set up so that the most users can use it, BUT, you are working backwards and annoying people that want a easy to use interface!

Do you plan to make several modules, like DBM or ForteXorcist ? It could let people choose what features they want and what they don't need to enjoy oQueue.

You're adding a lot of features to oQueue, and while some of these are enjoyable for most people, I feel I don't have use of half of the addon. For example the dices : I still don't know what it is supposed to be. The new "I accept loot rule" raid spamming thing who pops up even in LFR : why ? Karma : never used it and I dont see anyone using it, at least EU side. Same for all the PvP things, contracts...
