oQueue & Website Suggestions Thread

it's annoying when you are trying to pressed the waiting list button for a certain premade and it moves all the time because of the constant update

Please read: http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/1518788-Issues-with-OQueue
Probably more info in that thread that might be useful to you.

Holding down the shift key pauses the list. Here is the featured image from the oQueue download page:

OQ is the best thing to happen to WoW. Thank you for making it.

It just needs one thing:
A way to narrow your search, from the search field.

For example:
I want to find a Normal SoO at Sha of Pride, without having to sort through any of the Flexes nor those that are at Shamans:

soo +sha -shamans -flex

I want to find a Flex that isn't Flex 1 or 2 because I just did them.

flex -1 -2
or
flex -"flex 1" -"flex 2"

Just like Google does.
This way, you don't have the impossible task of coming up with every possible thing to filter for. Just let people filter for whatever they want, with an instrument that can cut the fat with precision.
soo & sha & !flex & !shamans

sounds like a great plan!

have you donated to help pay for them? oQueue is free... the only money comes from donations
I agree with the others regarding better filtering although not with the suggested solutions. I think better filtering could be implemented from the creation side which would help in sorting/filtering on the viewing side.

While creating give check boxes indicating raids/raid-sections, if a BG which BG and even an "other" category for anything that doesn't fit the norm. Then when viewing I could limit my viewing window to a single raid or a small selection of raids (e.g. only SoO Flex 1 or ToT last two sections, SoO First 2 for those hunting for legendary quest items for instance) and I would *only* see those raids pop up.

If you create an easy to follow standard for premade creation the organization will extend to those searching for premades. Otherwise everyone has different methods for listing/creating their premade which makes searching and organization a pain on the viewing side. While something like wildcard searches seems to be a good stop-gap solution, I don't think it serves as a great overall solution to the current problem.

Keep up the good work and keep ignoring the haters like @kevinmd88

how to filter for SoO Flex 1 or ToT, select 'raids' as the group type then click the spyglass and type:

soo & flex.*1 | tot

this is covered in the snowman's hints, 16-18 (i think)

Thank you for responding. I am aware of the current methods for "filtering" however I was just offering my suggestions for what I believe would be an improvement to the current filtering method with wild-cards and having to guess at whatever the premade creator might have named his premade group. That was all.
Hello,

If there would be one thing that I would like to see added to this amazing addon, it would be a way to either slow the scroll speed of the available raids down, or make it to where we can scroll through them at our leasure. It is a nightmare to try and click on the one thing you want when it is scrolling like crazy every 5-10 seconds, this almost makes me not want to utalize the addon because I get frustrated just attempting to relocate what I wanted to que for.

Please fix this!!

Besides this downfall the addon is amazing and I have encountered no other issues while using it.

Thanks!

Hey Aeduan,

Please read this post, which is a few posts above your post; http://solidice.com/threads/if-you-have-suggestions-post-here/page/2#post-2801

You'll want to checkout the oQueue faq in the oQueue specific forums aswell.

We can't slow down the list, but you can "pause" it by holding shift...
