Looking for a tutorial.

Just got the program tonight and have watched a few tutorials on YouTube. My problem is that the "region" section of my "command editor" has nothing to select on the drop-down box and isn't allowing me to create a region. Also, the "wow: username" and "maxfps" options are greyed out as well. I'm sure there is a simple solution, but I just haven't been able to find a good tutorial. If anyone knows a solution, or even where I can find a tutorial, please link! =) thanks!
