Icebox stops working

When I open up Icebox to check for updates, it starts loading the program but then suddenly I get the message the program stops working and it closes itself. Any idea what might be wrong here?

What operating system are you on?

Icebox requires at least Windows Vista with up to date service packs.

Windows XP is not supported.

i'm using win7x64 pro and just dnloaded a few addons w/ icebox.

please make sure to allow icebox passed your firewall

as for the crash... i'm unsure why it would do that. what version of internet explorer do you have? icebox loads IE to display the ad thingy (necessary evil)

I am on Win7x64 Home edition, Icebox always worked till I downloaded the latest version.

I am not sure about IE since I use Chrome, but I can see the add loading, but suddenly I get the message it stopped working and it closes itself so no clue what is going on....

@iskander can you check your IE version? i've got IE 11 installed (i use firefox for my normal browsing)

I have IE version 11. (Version 11.0.9600.17280 to be exact)

I have also tried disabling my Mcafee Internet security and have also made sure it is allowed through the firewall.
