Is there any way to get an updater that works and syncs across OSX and Windows? I play on both and this is a great need. Anything that is only Windows is almost worthless. An updater for OSX that does not sync is better than nothing but I would gladly pay for syncing.

here's an idea:

1. use curse + icebox on windows to update the addons
2. use dropbox to sync the addons between windows and OSX
3. use a recursive checksum utility to verify folder structure integrity after sync
(i use Hashcheck for this on windows - http://code.kliu.org/hashcheck/ )

P.S.
WARNING: do NOT use Google Drive for this... it has a stupid tendency to auto-rename files whenever it feels and you'll end up with files or folders auto-renamed, usually with a number appended to the file name. e.g "oqueue.lua" might end up as "oqueue (1).lua" or some other number if 1 is already taken ("oqueue (2).lua", "oqueue (3).lua", and so on...)

this WILL break the addons and will cause errors in game and amazingly enough.. this behavior is NOT a bug according to Google. It's designed to do this.
