bug: icebox crash for some people on game entry

icebox seems to crash for some people when they have icebox running as they log into the game world.
this is the current top priority bug being hunted.

if you have any input that would help resolve the issue, please let me know.

when a fix is ready, your icebox will automatically update when you start it next.
for now, everyone is able to utilize it's download and install features without issue.
OH OH hurry, i want to use the new ingame addon for skype etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO IT NOW!! GET TO THE CHOPPER!!!!!!!
looks like the crash bug is related to running wow in fullscreen or windowed mode. windowed-fullscreen is fine.

looking for a fix.

btw, if you're in fullscreen mode, you won't really be able to see the browser window as you pop thru things. alt-tabbing is also very slow. i'd recommend running windowed-fullscreen and auto-hiding the task bar
I am in windowed fullscreen mode and i get it :)
i pushed 0.0.8 and should work with windowed and fullscreen mode.

unfortunately, if you're in fullscreen mode, i cannot do much with it... so you won't see the browser

icebox should update itself when you run it next
I have everything set to Windowed-Full-Screen mode and everything was working fine till yesterday, now when I load into the WoW world Icebox crashes. I cannot get OQueue to work now either. I have all files in the WoW addon folder and extracted but nothing shows up now in game.
@sgtroeder
issues have been identified when using icebox with windows 8. these issues are being addressed.

for now, please exit your wow and then run icebox. update your addons and exit icebox before entering wow.

this should resolve your issue in the short term.

I am running Windows 7 and I did as you instructed above, but I am still having the same issue with oQueue not showing up. It seems to have fix the windows error crashing Icebox.
when you run icebox, look at the bottom edge. it'll show you the wow folder it will install the addons to

is it your wow folder?

btw, 'not showing up' means in the addon list, right? not just in-game? if it's not showing up in-game, please verify it's not disabled in your addon list

Ok, well whatever I did now. It appears to be working fine. It wasn't disabled in the addons list in game. It just wasn't showing there altogether. Also, it was downloaded and extracted to the correct WoW addon folder so I am not sure what happen but it is working fine now. I literally didn't do anything differently.
