License expired AGAIN...

I have been getting the good ole "License Expired" when trying to use key clone for the past two days. This is getting frustrating. Can we get this fixed please!

if you move between a laptop and a desktop, you will need to transfer your license each time.

if you're on a laptop and turn your wireless on/off ... you're essentially changing hardware... which requires a transfer

I am only using my desktop. no laptop or other computers involved. any recommendations?

the other possibility is that it cannot reach the internet to verify its license.

please make sure your firewall isn't blocking it

once the license is transferred, hold onto the system-id. when it changes, you need to transfer. by holding onto it, you'll have an idea when and why it's changing

I transfered the key and it is working now. The new key is saved and hopefully this weirdness wont happen again. Thanks Tiny.

I'm in exactly the same boat, I used to mulitbox on my machine with wow and have recently got back into play a bit again and my keyclone just displays 'LICENSE HAS EXPIRED' :(( I would really love to be able to use it again. I believe it was registered on my current system so there's no need to transfer or anything.

Edit: I am possibly using a different NIC in my machine as I added a new PCIx card rather than use onboard so maybe a transfer is needed? Also I've tried on an off for a week, I don't think its a maintenance window issue.

any change in hardware could generate a new system-id similar to moving to a new machine. when this happens, click the transfer button and enter the email address associated with your paypal account when you got the license. check your email, click the link, select the old system-id, hit transfer, and restart your keyclone. the whole process should take less then a minute.

if you don't receive the email within 30 seconds, please check your spam, junk or trash folders.

That Sir was very solid advice! Worked perfectly as described. I'd done that years ago before I don't know why I didn't realise it this time. I have recorded it for future use as I'm sure my hardware will change again.
