Ya I remember Tiny saying something about that in another thread that you have to have them otherwise the OQ channel won't load. He had said he never considered the idea that people would leave those channels haha.

You can always just be in them but not make them visable in your chatbox by making a chat box to go behind the place where the combat log goes by default. You won't have to see it but it would be there.

I use /trade and /general when looking for HC Sen pugs as its quicker and easier but other times im am not logged into them.

Unfortunately some people have got wise to this and spam LookingForGroup and LocalDefense with crap as well so I had left them all on my main toon (the broken one). I'll stay connected to LocalDefense and just ignore ppl now as I have cleared my ignore list.
