Blank Screen

I read a few previous posts on this and I am stumped.

Here is my info:

Does it say v.X.X.X at the top? YES

what region are you playing in? EU or US? US

also, what does this return:

/script print(GetCVar("realmList")) ; us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com

"sounds like a bad install.

first off, exit your wow completely.

if you're on windows, dnload icebox (http://solidice.com/icebox) to your desktop and run it. when it comes up, 'check' oQueue then uninstall. this will remove the folder and its contents. then 'check' oQueue again and hit 'update'. once installed, exit icebox and start wow."

Did an unstall and reinstalled via ICEBOX - no joy, same issue.

Any suggestions?

You can try going to the wtf folder in your WoW install and deleting the oQueue related files there. If you have any kind of win / loss ratio though, you are going to endup losing that data.

So I deleted my WoW install and did a complete install.

IT WORKED!

THEN..... Duh duh duh!!!!!!! I started turning my addons.

CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Blank screen again when I run OQueue. And turning off all the addons fails to clear the crash.

Only a CLEAN INSTALL allows me to get it up and running.

Now I'm in the process of trying to figure out which add-on it doesn't like.

BTW, I'm on my fourth (4th!) clean install as deleting the WTF folder, completely deleting all addons, and deleting the roaming folders appdata/roaming fails to clear the error.

ANY idea about addons that do not play well with this?

I really, really, don't want to have to have two seperate installs - one for OQ and the other for my regular add-ons.

Other than this issue - great addon!

first off, addons can't crash your wow. wow crashes wow.

depending on the crash, there can be many factors. one long standing issue is the number of bnet friends you have on your list.

if you have 99+ bnet friends, your wow will crash at any moment. this has been known for 2+ years and posted on the wow forums. nothing has been done (the crash i'm talking about is an assertion error. basically an error condition that wasn't handled by the dev team)

to see how many friends you have, turn off all addons, log in and immediately put this into chat:

/script print(BNGetNumFriends()) ;

what does it return?
I didn't say, or didn't mean to imply, that WoW crashed. OQ crashed.

Hence my comments about incompatable addons and a blank screen (or corrupted screen) when pulling up OQ.

I've been running two seperate instances of Wow - one with my regular add-ons and one solely with OQ as the only addon since mentioned above.

That worked well - until today.

Today I was in OQ, got accepted into a raid, logged out of OQ toon and into my regular toon (one install to the other install) with all my addons. Did the raid, logged out to go back to OQ, and now the blank screen - once again - with OQ VX.XX for the version.

The two and only two add-ons showing in WoW are ICEBox & OQ.

So now I'm back in the same boat of doing a full install, once again, and trying to figure out how this is happening as deleting the WTF folder and such doesn't fix the error.

And to answer your question above - 25.

Given that I didn't do any type of addon upgrade, and that we are talking two completely seperate installs, I'm looking for any insight so that I'm not constantly reinstalling the game just to have the OQ addon working.
