Update doesn't work, it still tells me it's outdated

I've updated to the latest version 5 or 6 times now. The new one downloaded ok, and I deleted the old version and put in the new one in the Wow Interface folder.
I get the raid menu just fine. But when I try to click on a raid, I get told that my Oqueue is outdated and I am rejected. The banner still runs across then menu saying the new version is available now. What do I need to do to fix this?
What does the version say at the top center of the addon?

If it does not say 1.8.8b then you have not installed the update correctly.

Some users have multiple WoW installs on their computer. You will want to check and make sure you installed the addon in the correct WoW folder. We have a tutorial on the forums as a sticky for finding your correct WoW install.
How do I find this tutorial? I put the new files into my Interface folder, I only have one Wow install. I tried replacing the old files. then I tried deleting the old files and putting the new ones in by dragging them into Interface, just like I did the first time. I know there is a problem cause it still says 1.85. So how do I find this tutorial?
you're unzipping it into the wrong folder.

exit your wow.
go to your wow/interface/addons folder and remove all oqueue folders.
then unzip the new version into that folder. you should see a new folder labelled 'oqueue'
then log in.

if you still don't have the latest, jumping into vent might be the quickest way to get this resolved.

So how do I find this tutorial?

OK I figured it out. The old OQ folder was in BOTH the Interface and the Addons folders. Once I cleaned out the old one from both places, I could put the new one in. Thanks.
Now I have a different question. I don't know my password for this site, and when I try to use the "can't login" feature, it tells me to answer a secret question. But it doesn't show any question. So I can't answer it. I got in by then hitting "Back to site". Somehow this works, my computer must know the password. but wouldn't it make sense to show the secret question if you want us to answer it? Maybe I never set up my account properly and there is no question. How do I change my password and also the secret question?
By default you do not have a secret question.
If you never changed your password, you should still have a "temp" password which was emailed to you when you created your account.
However if you are still logged in, you can change your password, and set your secret question by going to the account dropdown menu and clicking account.
Then set your new password on the settings page. However you will need your current password, to pick a new password...
