I am on a low population alliance realm, and most of my raiding comes from Oqueue. I consider myself an experienced player and would like to do heroics with other skilled players. I have noticed that the "item level" feels more like a hinder on Oqueue than anything else, people always want high item levels since people regard higher item level to more skillful players. One issue I find is that it does not separate the more skilled and seasoned raiders with the raiders that just have a high item level. It also creates limits for people like me that are unnecessary.
Example: A heroic group on oqueue can be listed and requires people to be 565 ilvl and lets say perhaps you're only 562 - 564 but can still pull the same numbers if not more and have the same experience as a 565 ilvl person.
Is there anyway you can make something on oqueue that helps people in this situation get groups with more experienced players?
The only Idea I have for this situation is to add a 9 level difference (551-560, 561-570) requirement system and to show the item level of the person in a column somewhere so people can see the requirements for raid and the item level of the person along with their progression? I know you recently implemented something to this degree I'm just throwing ideas out there.
