Well you're wrong there, the update takes less than 10 seconds using icebox, and that's 10 seconds I will never get back. Also, please bring me snacks, I'm feeling hungry and mom isn't home to feed me, also why are my internets slow and please I can't keep up with cat memes please release them slower.

I can see you removed my advice how to remove anoying popup ? Want to force people to see how nice images you have pulled from game database ?

I am not claiming update, I am claiming annoying and agresive popups. Whole word have understood finally that popup are annoying, all modern browsers removing that and you popup some "don't panic" ?!!!?!?!?!!!? popup right after login and dissable game interface ?

And about 30 or 10 seconds update :
yeah update took less than 1 min for sure, but this requiere logout and login, why I should logout ? Why I can't update in 2 hr when I am not in game anymore without annoying dialogs in meantime ?

Would be nice also to have option to dissable addon temporary, only one option to do it logout/login at the moment, and this one version (1.9.3c) have same problem I has in 1.8.[3 or 4 if I remember], cause lag in big raid groups. Last time has to tweak previous version, put lame version and to have this working, looks like need to do it again.
I Wasn't claiming that because I guess 90% ppl who using addon have 15 ms ping to server but mine is 160 and this is better not to have addon then to have lag.
You did great job with basic functionality on start dude but gona ruin that by adding more and more things which aren't anymore oqueue, when this become monster people gona switch to something else.

why not run the updates over curse client? its the first thing i run befor i start the game
curse is a file share site. you run the curse client which dnloads the files for you.

Unless it's absolutely critical to the operation of the add on I don't see any reason why it can't have less frequent updates. Much more complicated programms than OQ update far less frequently but with more changes in each update. 1 example, world of warcraft.
Another idea I wanna put forward is enhancing the rep system a bit more. Gives more accountability and whatnot. I feel like next to ilvl, raid progress and rep should also be more clearly visible. A way of tying in your mains progress would be nice too. If you look at the likes of Openraid it's much more communal because of the accountability and reputation system on the website. Also creating future events is a great feature there. You'll rarely get an OQ group that can clear past the first 4 bosses on heroic usually because of 1-2 bad eggs

As I see it, you're getting an awesome add-on and it's up to you whether you pay anything towards it. It's also up to you whether to use it and it's up to Tiny how and when he releases updates.

It's your choice if you want to use the addon or not, just like it is their choice when to update. It literally takes me 10 seconds to update. Just like with curse client I have icebox open to check for updates before I first log into WoW. Like it has been stated before you don't even have to exit the WoW client.

/oq off
or
/oq godark
personally i use both (-a bit redundant i know-), i have a macro for oQ_Off and another one for oQ_ON, both assigned buttons on the action bar.
Or clicking the "Go Dark" button in the settings interface. They disable most of the network functions of oQueue.
To re-enable the network functions just close (if its already open) and (re-)open the oQueue interface or use
/oq on
in addition, after a long "not-connected" period it might be better to also use
/oq check
to force a BattleNet oQueue capabilities re-check. I have both of them added in my oQ_ON macro.
