ok, we're going to institute a change in the raffles

if you're selected as a winner, you will have 72(ish) hours to claim your prize.
if you don't claim it within that timeframe, you will lose your chance and the next ticket pulled will be awarded the prize.

btw, if you win, the gift box on the navbar in the upper right will 'light up'

i've just pushed the first week's winner to the second ticket pulled.
pushing the winner from the first ticket to the second is a manual process, and i'm going to keep it that way for the time being.

i've also been kind of uncomfortable with not announcing the winners. there are 2 events, the ticket pulled and the winner selecting a prize. i think people would like to see that someone won a prize and without that info, they may think no winner was actually pulled.

please discuss and let me know either way. i'm currently leaning towards announcing both events

I think you should announce winners, that way we can see for sure that someone won (I don't think people believe there is no winner but it still feels alot better seeing someone actually won)

You should have also recieved a email indicating you were chosen as a runner up.

Listing who won, and what their prize was, would be interesting. Because I'm curious, and a tad nosey.

I agree with Ubiquityz it is kinda cool know you spent tickets and seeing who actually won and if they picked what you would have picked for your self or lol if it's still available in another raffle.
