for example, i dont want a ret pala in my RBG, but i want hpala instead... does that work?

click 'none' to unselect all classes... select pally.  then de-select tank and dps. 

pretty sure only hpally would be able to wait list

Tiny, I think the filtering check boxes need finer tweaking. 

There should be a way to select multiple wanted classes.

Lets say we need 1 monk healer, 1 rogue, and 1 guardian druid. 

Right now there is no way to filter just to those, attempting to do so would enable druids of all specs to wait list.  

The way it is setup now probably would help filter once you're almost full and need just one more person. 


One last thing, are you going to release something similar to my idea for the find premade tab ?

For the Find Premade Tab:
The newest version would simply include a new checkmark box, next to the send beer and qualified checkbox. This checkbox could be called: "Wanted"
When a user check marks the "Wanted" box it removes any premade from view where their role isn't needed.

if you click 'qualified', only those groups you can wait list for will be shown... which includes a check for role and class.

Sure, that's fair. I just envisioned a system where people can still queue for groups where their role isn't wanted, yet everything else qualifies. 

Just that small difference adds a whole lot more depth to the class/role filtering system. It is why i also wanted to see an option to " enforce " role filtering in creating a premade. That way when a premade host doesn't want to enforce it, he can still have a list of people who might not quite fit the spots he needs filled at the moment. ( hence the dual view on the wait list tab between wanted and general )

Also, how the filtering should be on create premade:

not at the moment, no.  the main reason being that it would require a protocol change which would require a mandatory update... and i avoid those as much as possible.  the second reason is that i'd prefer not to make it too exact.  i feel the general role should be enough and leaders could get multiple classes WL'ing for the position.  this allows for a level of vagueness giving other players a chance to apply for the position.
