Hi guys, I am having a major issue with downloads on here. First let me state that I have spent countless hours looking this problem up on here and through google searches. So I am not being lazy.

I download an addon and when it opens up, I see all of the files but as soon as it goes from that point to my desktop or addon folder, it is there but shows up as empty. Currently using windows 7, I shut off all security programs to make sure it was not being blocked by a fire wall or other security. Its like this for multiple adds through solidice.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

When you download an addon, you should get a popup that gives you an option to "open" or to "save". You should always click save.

Now that you have it saved on your computer, locate the file, and use a program such a 7zip, WinZip, or WinRar to "extract" the contents of the zip file. Once you extract the contents of the zip file you will have a normal windows folder containing the addon.

If you save the file like normal ...and run Win7....or Win8...all you need to do is doubleclick the archive you downloaded...and copy the oqueue folder from the window coming up and into your interface folder...Win7 has a builtin Unzipper...
