Do not accidentally click on the Download Ad

Watch when you download the update. If you follow the "start download" green box it's a VIRUS!  It's located in the advertisement box and if you are just quickly clicking through you will just click it like I did.  Now what is Solidice going to do to fix my computer?  I can not even boot anymore!
I highly doubt you were served a virus from one of our ads. Our ads are provided by Google. I would place high expectations that Google takes good measure to ensure the ads they provide are safe for view.

Regardless,
I am sorry you have had an unpleasent experience. However, our ads are CLEARLY labeled as "Advertisement" on all download pages. The proper download location is also made clearly visible and distinguishable.

I once again apologize for the inconvenience. I would recommed in the future you take proper care to ensure you are following proper internet browsing habits, a good place to start would be knowing what your are clicking on, before you click on it.

talk to google.  they supply the ads.

we've put a LARGE blue button that says 'Download oQueue'... and it flashes black when you mouse over it.  i figured it would be tough to miss.  not sure what more i can do ... besides putting a large animated arrow around it

Ron, absolutely wrong answer. Simply apologize and state you will follow up to remove that ad. That's the appropriate response. Your ad, regardless where it's came from, is the only thing I downloaded tonight. Once I downloaded it, thinking it was your product, it brought up a registery cleaner. Then my mcafee went off saying it stopped a Trojan. You are saying this is a coincidence?  No. Contact whomever you need to remove that ad.  If you trust your statement and google so much, click on it yourself and download it.
I once again apologize for the unpleasant experience.

We will look into the issue and take the action which we deem to be appropriate once we have reached a conclusion.

Pleae feel free to message either Tiny, or myself concerning this issue should you wish to discuss it further. However at this time I will closing this thread.
