what happened ?

Yah I think I get what you are saying. Just get players to add other oQueue users to their friends list and then they can transmit the data in between themselves by whispers.

While that might work, but would require users to probably run a desktop app to add btags to a file for them to friend when they log in, because the score keeper can only have 100 friends, so it can't possible be the central server for everyone to communicate.

The best solution is probably to use the group finder api and make use of what it can do. I've been playing with it for the last few hours. And to this point Im not seeing a straight for way to say "give me all the groups".

Yeap. Thats my opinion. Or you can add an option that allows everyone to be a scorekeeper for .... e.g. max 5 battle.net friends on different virtual realms or sth like that. the difficulty is to find the different virtual realms for their own oqgeneral. you have to manage that in an database in the addon.

first time use or no one from your "other virual realms battle net" is online: get manual a battle.net ID from e.g. a database to get to another "virtualserver mesh". you have to grow the mesh to another virtual server to get more premades.

second log in and so on: you already have a battle.net friend online on other virtual servers - its okay.

or: sent my battle.net id to oqgeneral channel if i want to be a scorekeeper for my virtual realm oqgeneral. so everyone in my oggeneral knows it and sent my battle.net id to their known other battle.net user on other virtual servers. ya know? if you have e.g. 5 known and marked oq battle.net friends the addons doesnt sent to local oqgeneral or tries to find until your get e.g. max 5 battle.net friends on different virtuals realms. i

if you dont have local oq users or your oqgeneral is empty you have to look for ppl.

you "only" have to get a few ppl on every virtual server who wants to be a multiplicator for other virtual realms. but i think there are a lot of ppl who wants to use the addon and are ready to give their battle.net id. i will do that. you have to fill up the local oqgeneral i think.

just a thought dont know if its possible or i think complicated ^^

here's an idea.. use the group finder ITSELF to broadcast oQueue data... create a premade with oQueue data in the group description.. could it be done?

is there a way to fiind out if there's a default sort somewhere? if so.. add some characters to the beginning of the premade name or description to make sure the data premade is at the top (or near it) of the premade list.

Ok, and what about an external program at all. Something like openraid but with your interface. This program/website will generate a string that you paste on an addon in wow and invites the list of friends in that string (openraid does something similar with the addon they have).

You can use your actual system to control oqueue friends and delete them (if you choose to) after the group or when ever...

I miss in openraid a real time interface better than the chat, when you can actually join different things going on at that time.
