step-by-step setup flipper setup

This page will show you step by step instructions on how to setup flipper for your computer.

Right click on the desktop to get the desktop menu. Select the properties menu option.

Select the screen saver tab.

Pull down the screen saver selection box.

Select Flipper as your current screen saver.

In order to change the settings of the screen saver, click the settings button.

The About tab will show the version and build information, along with the number of images selected for Flipper to show. This picture shows there are no local images selected and 17 of 20 images from Internet based image collections.

Click the add button to select local directories for Flipper to pull images from.

remember: Flipper only uses JPG files in the directories supplied. It will not use subdirectories.

Click the URL selection list button to see all the publicly available collections. These are not the only collections Flipper can display, just the ones in the public collections list.

Once you have selected the image can to use, click add to place the new can into the list.

note: if you go back to the About tab, you will see the number of net images has increased.

The cache size is the amount of local disk space Flipper will use to store images from the Internet. Increasing this number will allow Flipper to pull more images for display.

Images within image cans can be categorized using a simple label. This allows the user to select only those images they really enjoy. The "use all unmarked" checkbox is for those images that have no categorization. Select "use all unmarked" if you wish to see these as well.

And that's it. Just select Ok and your settings will be ready for Flipper.

I'm still confused...
